Membership

Please join us! The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization devoted to voter education and engagement as well as advocacy for League positions on state and national legislative issues.  The Central Berkshire chapter meets via zoom or in person.

We host educational events, voter registration tables, and membership meetings with community speakers. Join us at this important time in our country’s history to learn how you can participate.

Members take leadership positions in our chapter and are integral to decisions about our work. Members receive action alerts from the State and National LWV as well as access to state-wide small group work on legislative issues and tasks forces.
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18, regardless of gender or citizenship status. The membership period is from Jan 1-Dec 31.

If you aren’t ready to become a paying member there are still ways to participate. We share most of our activities and news on Facebook and our webpage and we are always in search of volunteers to participate in voter registration drives or get-out-the-vote events.

Financial assistance is available if you’d like to join but cannot afford to at this time, email us at BerkshireLWV@gmail.com for details. All requests are treated respectfully and confidentially. If you would like to make a gift to support this financial aid please let us know.
